Central Cottage is not surprisingly located at the center of Thong Nai Pan Yai beach. The resort has a row of air-con rooms that are next to a swimming pool as well as a few basic bungalows and beachfront luxury bungalows. Central Cottage offers some of the best value budget and mid-range accommodation in Thong Nai Pan.

 

All accommodation except for the small island hut has air conditioning, a mini bar and a TV. All the rooms except for the small and big island huts have hot water. The deluxe island bungalows have 2 beds (1 double and 1 single). The luxury room has an additional DVD player.

 

The restaurant has plenty of seating on the beach and serves a wide selection of Thai and European fare. There is an internet shop attached to the reception area. There is also a small mini-mart. At the reception they can organize fishing trips and taxis. There is a safety deposit box in the reception.

 

There are only 24 bungalows at Central Cottage. This gives the resort a different feel to the bigger Dreamland Resort. It also means that booking in advance is essential to guarantee a room. All prices quoted here are inclusive of tax. Also room prices include breakfast except the small island hut.

 

Although Central Cottage has fewer rooms it is similar in ethos to Dreamland Resort. Namely, they do the basics well without seeking to whow you with stylish interior design, fusion cooking or other such touches.

Children under 5 can share adults' bed for free but are charged for a compulsory breakfast (150 Thai Baht a day)
